At the Everflow Group, we believe in solutions and making lives easier, whether this be in terms of creating innovative technology products, great value water and wastewater services, an amazing place to work or helping others locally and globally.
Founder & CEO, Josh, had an idea. He saw a gap in the market for an ethical water retailer which could offer low-cost pricing while billing effectively and providing clean, safe water for people around the world.
Josh had communicated his idea to two willing listeners, resulting in the launch of Everflow Limited, a water retailer providing ethical and great value services to SMEs (at this point just in Scotland, as the market had not yet opened for competition in England).
Three founding fathers are raring to bring a fresh offering to the business water industry, and the first office opens in Hartlepool, North East England Perhaps the most exciting of the initial successes; Everflow Water gains its first ever customer!

Everflow Water is gaining more and more traction in the market and growing at a faster rate than competitors, which could only mean one thing internally – expansion!
The success is getting noticed – the Everflow Group is nominated for a Lloyds Business Award Private equity investment from Perwyn is secured to help Everflow Water invest in its customer experience as the company grows.
Josh is nominated for an Entrepreneur of the Year award. The office at Wynyard Business Park expands as new recruits are brought in The team begin developing new software to improve customer service and billing.
Thanks to incredible growth, in both revenue (which had increased by over 10,000% in the last three years) and headcount, Everflow Water expands into Nuneaton, opening a brand-new office.
The success is noticed again as Josh is shortlisted for two NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards, Scale-up Entrepreneur of the Year and Service Industries Entrepreneur of the Year, and Everflow Tech is shortlisted for Utility Week’s Innovation Award with Eclipse.
Thanks to all our customers, almost 90 wells have been commissioned to date and we now employ
almost 60 people.
The group hires a Chief Technology Officer to manage Everflow Tech and opens two new offices within Middlebrough’s Boho 5 building and hire 7 new employees.
The Everflow Group is shortlisted for three North East Business Awards, one Management Team award with BVCA and Everflow Tech is nominated for a Water Industry Award for Innovation.
The employee headcount is now at 62 and an employee satisfaction survey reveals the Everflow Group is soaring above average in employee happiness, with a an eNPS score of +73.
Customer satisfaction within Everflow Water is also revealed to be at 78% – again, way above average for the utilities industry.
We feel the story of the Everflow Group is only just beginning. While the past five years have been incredible, we can’t wait to see where the next five will take us.
